Education and EdTech · Software development

Education and EdTech software, built by people who've done it before.

Learning management systems, course marketplaces, assessment tools and student apps for schools, universities and creators. We have built creator-economy and course platforms, so we design for completion rates and instructor workflows, not just content delivery.

What makes it hard

The realities of education and edtech software.

  • Video, live sessions and downloads need cost-aware delivery at scale
  • Learner engagement drops fast without progress, reminders and mobile access
  • Instructors need simple authoring; admins need reporting and compliance
  • Student data, especially for minors, carries strict privacy obligations
What we build

Solutions we've delivered in this sector.

  • LMS and course platforms
  • Live and on-demand video learning
  • Assessment, quizzes and proctoring
  • Student, parent and instructor apps
  • Analytics on engagement and outcomes

Compliance we design for: GDPR, COPPA and FERPA awareness

What we have built in education and EdTech

Our EdTech experience includes Vonza, an all-in-one platform for course creators and coaches where we redesigned the core product and integrated new modules with a team of three engineers, a designer and a project manager. We have also built a learning management system for a training company with course authoring, quizzes, certificates and Stripe subscriptions, delivered in four months by three engineers, and a live-class scheduling and video integration for an online tutoring startup, a two-engineer, ten-week project.

Compliance and integration checklist

  • Video delivery through a CDN or provider such as Mux or Vimeo with cost controls
  • Live sessions via Zoom or Daily integrations with attendance tracking
  • Payments and subscriptions with coupons, trials and dunning
  • Progress tracking, reminders and mobile access to protect completion rates
  • LTI 1.3 or SCORM support where institutions require it
  • GDPR, COPPA and FERPA awareness for student and minor data
  • Reporting for instructors and administrators, exportable for accreditation
A course platform or LMS MVP typically takes 12 to 16 weeks and $30k to $60k, including video, payments and a mobile-friendly learner experience.
