What to put in a brief
You do not need a specification. The most useful briefs answer four questions: what the product should do for its users, who those users are, when you need something working, and roughly what budget you have in mind, even as a range. If you have an existing codebase, tell us the stack and whether we would be taking it over or extending it. If you are comparing vendors, say so; we are happy to be one of three and will tell you honestly when a project is not a fit. Everything you send is covered by our confidentiality commitment before any NDA is signed.
What happens next
We read your brief, reply with clarifying questions or a rough range, and propose a 30-minute call if it makes sense.
NDAs and IP
We sign your NDA or provide ours before any detailed discussion. IP assignment is included in every contract.
