Building for HIPAA from day one
A telemedicine app handles protected health information in almost every screen, so compliance shapes the architecture. We host on AWS, Azure or GCP services covered by a business associate agreement, use video providers that sign a BAA, encrypt data in transit and at rest, enforce role-based access with multi-factor authentication for staff, and write an audit log of every access to patient records. Relevant experience
We built Zeuss, a HIPAA-aware telehealth platform and medical CRM on Azure: a patient storefront, a CRM for doctors and agents, more than 20 Azure microservices, and pharmacy and payment integrations. We also built CareFlair, a commission-free marketplace connecting NDIS participants with disability support workers.
